I am certainly no gardener, so the wife had to push me into viewing this nursery. I am pleased she did because the Bevans have put a large part of their married life putting this display together. We happily spent an hour wandering through the...More

A real surprise. This place was great. Unfortunately the cactus were not at their flowering best due to the time we visited, we were teased with some sneaky flowers. A real labour of love has gone into this garden. The opal shop is small, but...More

A passionate person created this nursery and it is obvious form the outset. Like the rest of the touristy sights in Lightning Ridge you may wonder if you're getting what you pay for. Sadly, probably not considering the location, but still basically worth the time...More

I have visited Bevan's Cacti Nursery many times and always delight in taking visitors to see their fabulous display. This time of year the cacti are blooming, but even when they are not in flower it's still a wonderful few hours viewing.

We really did like the cactus garden, it's well presented, but it's not big and, as such, only took about 20 minutes to wander through. So I think $10pp for it is too much.

A fascinating place for anyone interested in cactus. The owner started the garden and has the most amazing selection of plants that are huge. Would certainly visit again.
